Global Water Benchmarking Study for Kenya – Water Services Delivery
About the Research
Our Global Water Benchmarking Study captures lessons and best practices from countries that have successfully transformed their water sectors. Focusing on improving water service delivery and resource management , the study examines key learnings in three areas. Firstly, governance, particularly referring to coordination between governments, the professionalisation of rural water, implementing accountability mechanisms, and policy and regulation. Secondly, the study examines financing and investment planning, discussing the development of incentives and policy frameworks which encourage private sector investment. Finally, technological innovations supporting climate adaption, the circular economy, and data driven decision making are explored. The study is designed to support Kenyan WASH stakeholders.
