About the Research
The livestock sector has the capacity to mitigate climate-related risks in the ASALs if matched with climate-smart investments that support the adaptive capacity of local women and vulnerable groups. This brief, produced in partnership with PRISE, explores the impact of investments in the livestock sector and value chains on climate change in Kenya’s ASALs.
